Born again
Faith comes by hearing
By hearing the word of God
He is higher, far above
Vast are His thoughts
More numerous than the sands
His perfection is unmatched
His power is greater
Than a million armies
He raises a standard
Against the enemy
He gives His people
Ears to hear & eyes to see
His angelic hosts
Surround us in love
The grace of His spirit
Is upon us
Even when feeling
Lost & defeated
Remember where He is seated
Above all dominions
The praise of the saints
Is His footstool
His name be raised
For He is holy
I exalt Your name
Jesus, Son of God
You are worthy
Of all of my worship
Your glory is beyond
What I can comprehend
And You call me friend
Such a marvel to me
Help me to discover
All that I can of You
You put my world in view
In accordance with Your word
Soaring like the birds
I have faith in Your wings
Carrying me forward
Your arm is long
Outstretched across the earth
The Son of God’s birth
Changed history
His resurrection marked eternity
I am born again
I hold Your hand
Into everything
You have destined for me.
