Direction
When I feel overwhelmed
You bring me to peace
You bring me back to the present
You calm the seas
One step at a time
In the right direction
Is all that it takes
Following Your reflection
When I see my flaws
My shortcomings, my failures
You give me strength
You give me favour
Not because I’m perfect
But because You are
The cross speaks louder
Than all my scars
In the victory
Of the tomorrows You hold
We will make it through
Our stories will be told
We’re standing for
Our generations
Our heritages
The future nations
You can get up again
He’s holding your hand
His love will sustain you
You will see all He has planned
From the beginning
We were called
We will not hide
We will not fall
Anxiety won’t win
The doubts will subside
With the clarity in Him
In Jesus we will abide
Resting in His word
I am confident of this
He who began a good work
Is working, even in this.
