Created for a purpose
Even though I walk
Through the darkest valley
You are with me
You are my shield
Against the enemy
You fight for me
To Your word
I yield
Submit to God
Resist the devil
& he will flee
I stand strong
In Your armour
I was made for victory
In the shadow
Of Your wings
I find my safety
In times of trouble
You lift me up
You calm the seas
Peace be still
The waves obey
& so will I
Despite the battle
Raging around me
I choose to write
About my King
The Saviour
Of my soul for eternity
I am Your daughter
Created for a purpose
Even when I cannot see
I walk by faith
Praising before
The promise is fulfilled
I am more than a conqueror
In Your kingdom
I will pause & be still
Because You hold me
In Your palm
I am shielded by the Son
I will not be troubled
For my shepherd King
Has already overcome
Mercies new
Every morning
I am not defeated
I am adopted
Into royalty
In the heavens, I am seated.
