Holding on
Nothing can separate me
From Your love
Your grace carries me
Your glory fills my weakness
When life plays out
Unlike how I planned
I trust in Your sovereignty
That You understand
All of the burdens
All of the weight
I carried too long
I release them at Your feet
They hated You first
So I rejoice in my sufferings
Let my praise arise
As a fragrant offering
I am holding on
To hope in You
Even when I can’t see
Where the path leads
You pour Your spirit
Into my words
My testimony
Overcomes
I am not my past
I am being shaped, moulded
I am Your masterpiece
Your precious possession
Your love is a river
That never runs dry
You are my reason
You are my why
When life gets dark
You are right here
You draw close to me
You draw near
You are close
To the brokenhearted
You bind up our wounds
You finish what You started
In our lives
You give us purpose
You are our sustainer
Your presence is enough
You loved us so much
You gave Your only Son
He hung on that cross
Until death was overcome
I am blessed
In You I abide
I choose You, Jesus
Every day, every time.
