May my tongue
Be a pen
Of a ready writer
My heart
Overflowing
With a noble theme
May my feet
Be adorned
Beautifully
With the gospel
Of peace
Through word and song
May roses
Bloom
Through my obedience
My delight
My joy
Is found in Your presence
May the meditation
Of my heart
Be pleasing to You
You are my reason
To pick up my pen
To lift up my praise
Your mercies
Refresh me
New each day
May Your kindness
Be on my lips
Sharing Your grace
In the good times
In the hard times
You are worthy
May my life
Be as poetry
The fragrance of heaven.
