Precious gold

A waterfall

Bubbling with promise 

Bird calls delighting the air

Crickets humming

Sounds twinkling 

Nature offers up a prayer 

Hands lifted to the sky

Tree branches soar 

Celebrating peace

A wonder of abundance 

Of flora and fauna 

Laughing in clusters of leaves

A myriad of natural beauty 

The sunlit rocks glisten 

A refuge for the eyes 

Soft bark paper trees

Home to cicadas 

Bursting with songs to the skies

A melody reflecting 

Across the forest

An awe inspiring chorus

A lush green array 

A sanctuary for the soul

Precious gold found in the forest.
