He found me
In suffering
He restored me
To Him
He surrounded me
With favour
As a shield
My Saviour
In His mercy
He lifted me
Out of
The miry clay
He is my banner
He is my Father
Because of Him
I won’t be afraid
He gave His life
For my sins
He calls me worthy
To be His
In the darkest
Depths of me
He came to save
And set me free
From the chains
Of sorrow
Restoring in me
Hope for tomorrow
As I walk in step
With the King
He is my reason
I will sing for Him.
