Glimmers of hope
Even when
I don’t understand
You are leading
With Your righteous hand
You say fear not
You are with me
Til the end of the age
Into eternity
Your loving kindness
Leads to repentance
You desire faithfulness
In the little things
Help me to walk
In humble obedience
Trusting Your timing
Letting go of mine
Give me grace
To renew my mind
Inviting restoration
Holding Your hand
My heart is deceitful
Above all things
May I seek counsel
In Your great wisdom
Often Your plans
Make little sense
You are My shepherd
Guiding in love
Help me to see
Into the eternal
To follow Your leading
Not follow my feelings
You promise to answer
When I call
Thank you for clarity
Thank you for strength
The vision is yet
For the appointed time
It will not tarry
It is not late
Help me to wait
In pursuit of You
In walking by faith
Stewarding my life
Your sight is greater
Than what I can see
You offer me perspective
Glimmers of hope
In Your sovereignty
You order my steps
Into harvest
Into the next
The dance of surrender
The joy of the everyday
I will walk purposefully
I will trust and obey.
