Plans
Many are the plans
In man’s mind
But the Lord
Establishes his steps
I may not see
The full picture
But You are leading
With every breath
You are the path
You are the way
You are my light
My eternal compass
Your word is a lamp
Your word is my source
Of hope, of strength
Of comfort
The road ahead
Is in Your hands
You know my path
Before I do
You are sovereign over
My whole life
You are faithful
To come through
Faith without works
Is dead
I don’t need permission
To follow
You are Lord
Over my ways
I will not fear
Tomorrow
You are my salvation
My break of day
The God
Of new beginnings
You are triumphant
Over my foes
Over me, You rejoice
With singing
The grace to step
Into the unknown
Is upon me
You are my covering
I will give you the glory
For what You will do
You have my life
As an offering
I surrender
Again and again
On my knees
Lord, have Your way
I may not see
What the future holds
But I choose
To trust & obey.
