Wonder
As water reflects face
May Your word be exuded
Through my every deed
Bring my thoughts in alignment
With Your heart
With Your plans
Your sovereign hand
Steadies me in every storm
The moment I was born
You called me, you chose me
To be sanctified, to be holy
As You are
Your grace fills every scar
Every tear, every hardship
In the highs and the lows
You are there, a dear friend
You draw me closer
With every word from Your lips
Helping me to see clearer
Helping me to see with Your sight
The dancing of doves
In the darkest of nights
The world aches
For a heavenly touch
You are my protector
My confident hope
That my suffering
Has eternal reward
The times of sorrow
Will be replaced
With a joy outpouring
A revival of my heart
I see afresh
The mercies laid out
Like a table of plenty
You invite me to join you
Come let us adore
And lavish upon the King
Perfume, fragrant offerings
Of sacrifice, of service
You deserve my all
For all You did for me
Your cross set me free
You amaze me everyday
I see you everywhere
In starlit skies, gentle words
I’m enraptured by You
Completely in awe
May my wonder never cease
The beauty of Your presence
The Saviour meets me
Where I am, in this moment
I find home in Your care
You delight me with Your kindness
Poured out like wine
You fill my heart with gladness
A merry time of year
Where Your peace settles fear
I marvel at Your creation
The Creator of all knows me.
