Green leaves
I can be honest
With You
You know my thoughts
All my ways
You’re a God who stays
Through it all
Every tear
Every joy
I have all I need
I can breathe
There is peace
In You at all times
What a hope
There is in You
I will make it through
This is not the end
I have a friend
In Jesus
Green leaves
Spring forth
He is my true north
The compass of my soul
His plans will unfold
In His timing, His grace
I will not waste
This life of mine
He is God of time
Yet the days require wisdom
He will birth
A brand new earth
Out of the pain
He will bring justice
I can trust this
That He sees all
Every sparrow that falls
Is not out of His sight
I will endure the night
For He is my eternal light
The dawn is coming
He will guide my steps
Into what comes next
I have hope in Him
He breathes life
Into my depths
In times of trouble
He is an ever-present help
He is with me in the storm
He is my shelter, my home.
