Constellation
Every star
You know by name
I am Yours
You have redeemed me
A night sky
Of shining flames
Your Holy Spirit
Within us
Burning earnestly
In reverence, in awe
Of Your power, Your mercies
Beyond comprehension
In the wake
My life is Your hands
I surrender, I lay down
My life, my plans
I place them into
Your gracious care
I am met with kindness
Your love extended
In Your presence
I find stillness
I can breathe
I can slow down
I soften
Into Your peace
You hold me
In all my weakness
You love me
Into growth
Into new life
Into the birthing
Of transformation
A butterfly released
Into its fullness
Into wonder
My God thunders
With justice
His judgments are true
All my days.
