Adventure
Walking with You
Is a grand adventure
My feet adorned
With the gospel of peace
Salvation alone
Comes through Christ
The Messiah, the King
The Master of my life
In the crickets humming
The warm summer breeze
I surrender to His timing
I fall to my knees
In humility I look up
His face full of love
Keep going child, it’s not the end
You are enough
His breath meets my weary bones
He whispers only a word
Grace rings out in an echo
In a rhythm I’ve never heard
Choosing to
Receive His mercy
His kindness
His outstretched hand
Inviting me
To serve with sincerity
To walk
In His plans
His servant, His child
Sharing the truth
Offering wisdom
Releasing creativity
He only needs
My willingness
Releasing doves
From captivity
In the grand scheme
The waiting season
Is a raindrop
In eternity’s pond
The timing
Of His sovereign hand
Gives me strength
To carry His song.
