Strength
The sun lights up
The dusty pink sunset
As the trees sway
To a steady zephyr
The leaves stand out
Illuminated
Lush and vibrant
A gentle end of day dance
The far off ocean
Beckons me closer
Welcoming me
In opulent blue tones
The skies are layered
With baby blue hues
Peaking through
Seeing with eyes of faith
The birds chime out
Bringing in the flock
To find their night refuge
Sheltered by God
The beauty of dawn
Reminds me
There is a time, a season
Appointed for all things
In the quiet
In the trusting
That is where
Strength lies.
