Redemption

In Your presence

In Your nearness 

You are closer than a brother 

I am safe

The beauty 

Of a Father’s heart 

To protect 

To nurture

Growing me 

Deeper through trials

With suffering 

Your glory shines

You have me

In the palm of Your hand

I have no need to fear

You are my shield

My comforter 

My close friend

Creating within me

Strength to strength 

I will sleep sweetly

As the wild storm rages

Because the King of glory

Is in my boat

The Father of souls

Prepare and remould

Every part of me

For redemption.
